COVID-19 Update: Per the recent City-County Health Department, State and CDC guidelines, Goodworks Place will be closed to all events at this time. Per CDC recommendation, we will not accept bookings for events until further notice.
Our vision for Goodworks Place is one
Statement of Solidarity
Like so many others, our hearts are broken by recent events. At Goodworks Place, we recognize there are fundamental equality and justice issues across the country, that need to be addressed. We stand in solidarity with the black community and allies who have engaged in nonviolent protest to address systemic racism. There are a lot of voices out there advocating for change. We think Michelangelo was right when he said, “criticize by creating.” Protest, donate, write to your local politicians, VOTE, and engage in conversations with those around you, even when uncomfortable. Make your voice heard and speak out against injustice when you hear or see it.
We support small businesses, equal opportunity, and resilient communities that are inclusive of everyone.
Frequently Asked Questions
What kind of events do you host?
We treat the space as our living room, so we will consider any events appropriate for a living room-type setting. For example, we welcome community conversations, small to mid-size meetings, trainings, private hosted meals, and the like. We are typically not available for events open to the public. We do not host weddings.
What is the capacity for events?
Comfortably, our space can accommodate around 80 people. For seated dinners, we believe our capacity is around 70. Please note, the space has a single unisex bathroom.
How do I book an event there?
Please contact Savannah at firstname.lastname@example.org for available dates and times. You can also check our calendar at www.gwplace.com
Can we bring our own food and drink?
You can! As long as your event is not open to the public, you can bring outside food or beverages. We do not require a caterer for events that are not open to the public.

What should we do before our event?
If Goodworks Place has never hosted you before, you will need to schedule a walk through with Savannah. Please do not stop by unannounced as the space may be in use.
Anything else we should know?
We have a single unisex bathroom. This doesn’t seem to be an issue for most groups.
The building is regularly cleaned on Wednesday and Saturday or Sunday. Scheduling events around regularly scheduled cleanings may help to keep the costs down by preventing additional cleaning charges
